I am an artist, designer, and educator with over 20 years of professional experience in art, design, and creative education across China and the United States.

Art has always been at the center of my life—not only as a profession, but also as a way of observing, understanding, and connecting with the world. Over the years, my creative journey has taken me through fine art, illustration, graphic and UI design, visual communication, and art education.

My professional experiences include serving as a Visual Editor at Tsinghua University, working as a UI Designer at China Central Television (CCTV), founding my own art and design studios, and holding a solo illustration exhibition at California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). These diverse experiences have shaped my interdisciplinary approach to both art-making and teaching.

As an educator, I have taught students of all ages and backgrounds. Earlier in my career, I taught graphic design and art foundation courses for Chinese National College Entrance Examination (Gaokao) students preparing for admission to leading art and design universities. Today, I continue to teach children, teenagers, and adults, helping them develop creativity, confidence, and strong artistic foundations through drawing, design, and visual thinking.

I believe that every student possesses a unique artistic voice waiting to be discovered. Rather than simply teaching techniques, I encourage students to observe deeply, think creatively, and express themselves with confidence and purpose.
To me, art is more than learning how to draw—it is learning how to see, think, and tell meaningful stories. Whether through an original painting or a lesson in the studio, my hope is to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a lifelong love of art.
